Choosing the Best Restaurants for Groups

Whether you’re planning that special meal out with friends, a big family celebration or an important business dinner with clients, it’s important to choose a restaurant that offers a great group dining experience.

Location and easy to find venues in the heart of Hong Kong’s central district is key to a great group dining venue. Other things to consider is that the restaurant can accommodate everyone comfortably and cater to everybody’s appetites. The best group restaurants mean a comfortable vibe, a diverse menu and easy to get to location.

Choosing the Best Restaurants for Groups - 12000 Francs

Making Sure Everyone is Happy

One of the most difficult tasks can be finding a restaurant that offers something to satisfy a group’s different food preferences; if several members of your part are vegetarian you probably won’t want to eat in a steak house. The best option is to pick a restaurant that offers a wide and varied selection of drinks and dishes that is likely to have something for everyone to enjoy. If the kitchen has seasonal dishes and the chef can make changes still using the best produce then the experience can be even more memorable.

Excellent food is, of course, a vital ingredient for a memorable and successful group dining experience, but don’t forget that a restaurant’s décor, atmosphere and standards of service all play a part in ensuring that everyone in your party has a great time.

SoHo’s 12000 Francs is one of Hong Kong’s Best Restaurants for Groups

Situated on Elgin Street in the heart of fashionable SoHo, 12000 Francs is the perfect destination for your special group dining event. Welcoming and stylish, this modern European restaurant and wine bar can comfortably seat up to sixty-five guests, so looking after bigger groups is no problem.

Our wine tables are designed for larger parties and having this to your group would be equivalent to a private party for 20 or a separate dining room.

When it comes to outstanding food and drink, 12000 Francs ticks all the right boxes for group diners too, whether they’re coming along for brunch, lunch or dinner. A varied menu of crowd-pleasing classic dishes – which cleverly showcase traditional food preservation techniques including pickling, smoking and curing – is joined by an extensive and indulgent list of wines, cocktails and other drinks.

Add to this the restaurant’s fabulous atmosphere and attentive service and you’ll understand why it’s wise to book your group dining experience at 12000 Francs in advance to avoid disappointment. Book Here

12000 Francs: could this be the best restaurant in Central?

The modern European wine bar and restaurant that’s taking SOHO by storm

It has already recently been voted one of the best new restaurants in the world by CNN for 2017 (please see: Here) and has gained top marks for service from South China Morning Post’s Susan Jung.

12,000 francs is following the steps of its sister restaurants Madam S’Ate and The Beachhouse to be unique offerings in Hong Kong’s busy restaurant scene. The Woolly Pig HK team is working hard to earn 12000 Francs a reputation among diners as the best restaurant in Central. Clearly the combination of an innovative European menu that showcases food preservation techniques, coupled with an outstanding wine list, elegant and relaxing surroundings and first-class service, is paying off.

The opinions that matter most to us are those of our regular diners, and we’re delighted that so many of those we’ve impressed have been generous with their praise for 12,000 Francs. This positive feedback both affirms that we are succeeding in our ambition to bring something new and outstanding to Central’s diners, and inspires us to strive even harder to provide an unparalleled ambience, service and cuisine.

We aspire to make this the best restaurant in Central for you

Of course, the best way to find out why so many customers regard us a contender for the title ‘best restaurant in Central’ is to experience 12000 Francs’ fine European cuisine, attentive service and unique atmosphere for yourself. Whether you join us for brunch, a set or a la carte lunch, or for dinner, our menus will spoil you for choice. From light bites such as foie gras parfait or bonito tartare, to hearty and comforting mains including cote de boeuf, fire roasted suckling pig, or our signature short rib pastrami, we’re proud to offer something to satisfy every taste and appetite.

We welcome solo diners, couples, families, friends and business groups to enjoy a truly memorable dining experience with us, and sincerely hope that 12000 Francs becomes your personal ‘best restaurant in Central’.
